GL: broad band radar

Hi all,

We're into the serious preparation phase of Looping, will be leaving the
upper Mississippi river this fall.  We are wondering if anyone has had any
real experience with broadband radar.   We've read some articles, but
looking for some pros, cons etc before we decide since it is such a new
technology.
