Getting ready to launch the boat in the Upper Mississippi in anticipation of
full time cruising for the foreseeable future, and would like some feed back
as to the best dock lines to have. Boat is 55' LWL, 60' LOA, weight at
40,000
lbs Main area of cruising will be the Loop. Also would like any
suggestions
as to where the best place to buy.

Thanks in advance,

Ken,
Good question. See an article that I penned on the subject for PASSAGEMAKER
mag. It is on my web site.
Briefly, pur a 600ft spool of line for the cost of two ready made ones,
splice in FOUR FOOT DIAMETER EYES and you are good to go. Instructions on
splicing also on my web site.
