Another suggestion for NewEngland cruising...I learned to sail out of
Marblehead...a 'must-see' as are Salem and of course, Gloucester. I used to
live nearby. Then there's MAINE! I got to spend a week cruising on someone
else's sailboat there...but my suggestion for that is to stop somewhere,
Portland if you like, and rent a car! Drive up/down the coast to visit all the
charming little places like Boothbay, Camden and Mt Desert area. Having a car
means covering the territory faster and being able to see more, stop over at a
little B&B along the way. OR...plan to leave your boat at a yard in Maine for
the winter! Every nook and cranny along that coast has something special to
offer! Take the time to really enjoy it!
