GL: Finger Lakes Cruising

Greetings,B  We have been up in the Erie Canal and Finger Lakes region of NY
for the past two years.B  That should say something about our feeling about
it.B  As we are from the Solomons area of Maryland we felt we wanted to spend
much more time up there than we did when we did the Great Loop.B  There are
some low bridges but if you can get by with 16' you should be fine.B  Lakes
Cayuga and Seneca are both lovely cruising spots with LOTS to see and do!B 
Wineries abound, Ithaca , and Cornell , beautiful parks for hiking and/or
swimming. and many inexpensive or free tie ups on the various towns along the
canal.B  Water is sweet, fishing good, and many, many festivals, summer
theatre, history galore, etc all B the way from Waterford to Lake Erie.B  We
can HIGHLY recommend it!
