GL: Sort of OT

Got a chance to pick up a Luhrs 28.  Needs a new engine.  Is inboard 
single screw.  Hull and Interior is good.

Thinking of pulling the engine, shaft. rudder and mounting a gill 
bracket and twin 4 cycle OBs.

1 It give twin screw and better control
2 should be better fuel at slow speed cruising
3 Would be easier to service . This require explanation.  Have knee 
replacements and told by DR's not to kneel.
An inboard on a small ( under 40 ft ?) power is serviced under the 
cockpit floor and I looked at several and don't see how to avoid kneeling.

Any comments  May not do the GL but would do the little loop around S. 
FL and maybe up to panhandle and the Tenn-Tom
