GL: Single Hand

Harry,

It's certainly possible to do the loop single handed. There was an article
in one of the boating magazines this past month or two about a person who
did it in a much larger single screw vessel.

I wouldn't suggest doing the lower Mississippi though. Not many places to
spend the night, lot's of tow traffic, lot's of debris in the water. Better
cut off and take the river system (Illinois, Mississippi, Ohio, Tennessee,
Tenn-Tom canal, Tombigbee River, Alabama River, Mobile River and then take
the ICW West to NOLA if that's your destination.

Best regards,
Bob

Is it possible to do the loop single handed?

I have a 30 Mainship Pilot and I am thinking of doing = the loop, from Lake
Ontario to New Orleans this summer and would like to know if anyone has done
it single handed.
