GL: Sarasota to Fort Myers

Yup, I can't read a map or a chart.  Transpose Naples and Venice, they're
all the same SW FL retirement cities to me.  :)

We are here at the very nice Legacy Harbor Marina and are here for the
specific purpose of seeing Edison's home.  It was easier to burn a few
gallons of diesel than to have to pay the cab fare from the beach.

BTW, we intend to run down to Ballard Oil in FM Beach for a top up before
heading south.  We have a week window for a slip at Boca Chica Naval Air
Facility next to Key West.

  Wow Rich!  You are going to make a long day of it if you go to Naples  and
then to Boca Grande.  I'm guessing that you mean Venice.

  By the way, for those who don't know, Ft. Myers is not on the Gulf of
Mexico so its out of the way unless you really want to visit there.
However, Ft. Myers Beach IS on the Gulf and on the way if you are running
down the left coast of Florida to the Keys.
