GL: Anchoring near NYC

Another choice is to tie up at Newport Harbor, which is in a nice area of
Jersey City.  There are great restaurants and night life within two blocks of
the marina with no drunks lying in the streets (sorry, Fred - we'll miss those
guys!)  Midtown Manhattan is easily accessible by the PATH train whcih is a
few blocks from the marina.
