We just  installed a new alternator and it does not seem to keep up like the
old  one. Sue



Additional thought...assuming that you may have purchased a higher output  
alternator.  Your old wiring may not be able to take it and things could be  
getting real warm.  To small a wire for the output would be a  resistance 
which would limit the output.
