Bob,
I met Jan on Blue Arrow Monday evening at Fort Edward, they were planning
on staying an extra day to pick up mail here, but it looks like that mail
may have arrived early so they shoved off yesterday already. They were
probably not looking forward to the canal water level being dropped several
feet last nite in our section.
Lady In Red arrived yesterday (Greg & Donna) and we all went out for dinner
and had a lovely time, then back to the boats for that "sinking feeling" as
the lock operators let a couple of feet of water go, to allow for a new
dredge to squeeze under the bridges.
Bob, when you make it back to Waterford later, let me know, I'd like to
meet you.
Best wishes,
Fred

Hi Fred,
I wanted to give you a "heads up" that they were heading your way but time
got away from me. We have known Jan & Nicoline on Blue Arrow since the
winter of 2005/05 in southern France and have had a great time cruising
with
them from Chesapeake to Waterford. Ran into Greg & Donna on Lady in Red
again at Kingston NY and also had a great time with them.
Anyway I hope you were able to spend sometime with both of them.
We plan to be back to Waterford in late July then maybe head up your way
for
a bit before heading south again.
Bob & Lynn Williamson
On Legrace heading for Canajoharie NY today
