Jonathan,  while in Holley, you MUST see the waterfall, it's really quite 
impressive and very pretty.  The bridge tender can give you directions for 
the short walk.  Here's a picture of it:

Your next stop headibng west is probably Medina, a nice town:

Try to avoid Tonawanda on the weekends, it's always a total zoo with 
literally hundreds of boats looking for a spot to dock.  Pictures here:

Valentine presently in Holly on the Erie Canal will be at the Tonawandas at 
the North-East terminus of the Erie Canal in 1-2 weeks. We would like to 
take an organized tour of the Niagra Falls. Does anyone know of a tour 
pickup location either in the Tonawandas or at one of the marinas along the
