Roberta & Randy,

When we did the loop, we stayed at Bay Moorings Marina at Penetanguishene.
Their contact number is 705-549-6958, and their web site is
<http://www.baymoorings.com> www.baymoorings.com. Penetanguishene and
Midland are across Dalton Point from each other, so no real difference in
logistics, I think. Bay Moorings facility is great, cost was reasonable,
fuel onsite. There is another marina south of Bay Moorings in that harbor.
In the area is an Historic reconstruction at Saint Marie, an early
settlement (second oldest white settlement in North America, second to
Jamestown Colony) that is well worth seeing. At St. Marie are the oldest
continuously operating locks in North America, on the Wye River.
