GL: Lake Champlain provisioning

What John & Judy Gill said about Vergennes ... I been there, did that, and 
loved it.  The spectacular waterfalls dumping right into the town harbor 
makes the trip worth it right there.  Here's a few picture of Vergennes I 
took in 2007:

The beautiful town of Vergenes on Lake Champlain is a great place to  
visit. The town is a bit of a hike up the hill, but town dockage by  
the waterfall is spectacular.  Good grocery store and wine store  
within walking distance.
