GL: Deck Carpeting

Add my "ditto" to Ken and Jim!

This reminds me of my first car, a 1965 Impala ... we spilled detergent on
the floor in the back, and a few weeks later it started growing grass and
weeds back there in the carpet! It's really amazing what will grow in
carpeting when there's just a bit of dirt added to a slight rain leak.

Ditto, plus snaps mean many somethings screwed into the fibreglass decking

which will allow water entry and rot, plus the carpet will act like a
sponge, dry out later than sooner.
