GL: Rideau Canal

The Black Pearl had an easy crossing to Kingston and we enjoyed the city a
lot. We took a city tour, shopped the farmers maket etc. We are currently on
the dock at the Kinney Hotel at Jones Falls. The scenery is beautiful and the
water has been fairly clear. No weeds in the channel of the Stixx River that
plagued Georgs . We did have a 4 hour wait to go through the first set of
locks, and it looks like that might happen again this morning.  Fred Flinn
