GL: 49' for Loop

Caper is 48 ft. and a single with a 4' 6" draft.  You can read our log

We only had the 2 of us aboard and traveled from Gloucester, MA to New
Orleans with no problems.  We stand 15' 6" and did not go thru Chicago, but
did the Cal-Sag.  The only tight spots on the draft were in Georgian Bay and
one spot down in Mobile Bay at the entrance of Fowl River, but you watch
markers carefully.

On the entire trip, we spent 9 nights in marinas (courtesy mostly of our
watermaker).

You can handle it fine if you work together (as you can see from the picture
of Caper at Aird Island, locking thru involves climbing a ladder while
setting up since we have no level side decks we can walk on.
