GL: Defever 49 for Loop

How many people day-after-day with you on the boat? If it's just you and SO, 
I would keep it smaller. A stateroom for you two, and another inconvenient 
one for a visiting couple. "Drinks 6, feeds 4 and sleeps 2" is a good rule 
of thumb.

For flexibility while looping, I'd also consider max of 4 foot draft, and 
easily hunker down to 15 foot of air draft.

I think 36 to 40 feet is optimum for looping.
