GL: fuel on the north passage

If your boat has a range of "100 miles on fumes," you need to plan now for
your trip down the river system.  There are places on the Mississippi River
that fuel is at least 200 miles apart.  There are definitely portions of the
Illinois River and the Tenn-Tom where fuel is at least 100 miles apart, and
I suspect, more than 100 miles apart..
