GL: weather & water temps in Abacos in the Bahamas in mid February + BUDDY BOAT for crossing

Hello All;

Currently we are in Marathon but next week we hope to head north to the Lauderdale area for a potential Bahamas crossing.. and we are curious about what conditions we can expect when we get there.

We are heading that way mid feb, and am lookin forward to some snorkeling..... headin towards Marsh Harbour... so what is the weather like in mid-Feb. and what is the expected near shore water temps?

ALSO... anyone crossing from Ft Lauderdale to West End in Mid February??? .. if so.. let me know..we'd luv to buddy boat for the Bahamas trip.? We are a 44' trawler and travel about 9 mph as a rule.
