Thanx
David, Those batteries have gotten mixed reviews on this blog, but being a
member of SAM"S I should at least give them a look-see. Any idea what they
weigh, ie: how much lead? Jon.

Subject: Golf cart batteries

Jonathan,
I own a
campground and have two golf carts. I started using golf cart batteries from
SAM's about 12 years ago and I will get 3 to 4 years of use out of a set of
batteries. The golf carts are used very hard pulling large boat trailers,
utility trailers and whatever is needed. The batteries are charged everyday to
every other day. I have been very pleased with the durability. The roads are
not paved and are rough. The price was about $53.00ea not sure what it is now.
Also used a bank of 6 house and 2 starting in a 38' sailboat I owned in 1994-
97 same batteries and worked well.
