GL: Montreal to Maine

This is the Downeast Loop Trip. The best starting point is to buy the
book of the same name but Cheryl Barr. She outlines everything you
need to know and the book is right on the money from my experience in
2006 on this trip.  Stick to her timetable for travel to get the bet
chance of good weather.  There can be dramatic differences in weather
year to year. I believe 2006 was perfect by my experience but 2008
when several boats did the trip was cold and rainy from the reports I
have seen.

Its a magnificent trip and only a few bits are remote and exposed.  In
the right season weather problems are minimized.
