'Lo Ken and All,
Covers are good for almost anything for protection from the elements.
I offer one caution, however. Be careful when working in the area
around them, even when not taking them off, as bees love to make
their nests under these covers and they can get VERY protective of
their space. I am quite allergic to bee stings, so I have to carry
bee sting kits with me. I have learned most of the places the
critters like to build nests and approach them with due caution. I
have had black hornets, mud daubers, and yellow jackets build nests
on/in the various boats I have been on. We also always have bee
sprays, such as Hot Shot, on the boat, just in case.
Also, be careful of spider nests under the covers, too.
The tighter (less movement) the cover, the more probable that a nest
will at some time be built under it. Of course, if it is frequently
removed, there is less probability.
Take care and be safe.
