GL: ICW conditions in Georgia

In Georgia we always play the tides. If you leave the Savannah area on a
rising tide it is possible to get through Hellgate and Little Mud River in
one day. We did it with our 4' 7" draft. We have learned to just play the
tides through these problem areas. Makes the cruising much more pleasant.

<Does anyone have information on the water depth and markers in the ICW
through Hell's Gate and Georgia? We are traveling south in a trawler with a
4'8" draft, currently in Charleston, SC, and tiring of the skinny water!
