For most of the past eight years, we have lived-aboard our 'pocket'
cruiser, a 22-foot C-Dory. We have traversed almost all the COE navigable
water in the United States; the rivers and coastal waterways - more than
24,000 nautical miles of some of the finest cruising possible. Rather than
list routes, we would suggest that those curious about what's available in the
US (and parts of Canada) click on our website and 'go' to the route that might
interest them. Our tales are intended to give a 'taste' of the waterway, and
don't replicate cruising guides that concentrate on details of marinas, eating
places, or the like. Also, being a geologist, we have included geological
tales of many of the waterways in a special section titled Geologic Ramblings.
We hope you'll enjoy sampling America's marvelous waterways.
