You might also look into GPSy Pro which reads both raster and ENC  
programs. A copy of GPSy Pro or GPSNavX and a CD of NOAA and Corps of  
Engineers charts should suffice for navigating anywhere in U.S.  
waters. The cost of the chart CD and the software together should be  
less than $150. Too bad you have to buy Canadian charts at Tiffany  
prices. But I suppose it is only fair. They give us their geese for  
free.
