Here's a CON:
Not many boaters are equipped with a CB radio.
Its not an officially recognized means of marine communication.
You wouldnt be able to get me on your CB. I dont own one.
Communication range of one to five miles.
Cant talk with another station for more than 5 minutes continuously.
Requires an additional antenna, antenna mount, place to mount the radio, and
electrical connection (fused).
PRO:
Could probably get a used one dirt cheap.
