GL: CB RADIOS

SSB and Ham are verry usefull off shore ( and possibly in the middle of one of
the larger great lakes or for calling for help if there is no responce on VHF)
Since returning from the Bahamas 3 year ago we have not used it once. Jon on

I would sooner have a back up VHF,
mounted or handlheld.  A side band might be
a better alternative.
