GL: What a year...

Jerry,
My wife is a cardiovascular nurse specialist and says if you're not
experiencing any symptoms that you're probably healthier than a lot of
people out there doing the loop.

In the last survey in the Great Loop Link, 24% of loopers are between 66 -
70 and 7.6% are older than 70.

Plus when you get right down to it, I can't think of a better way to go than
a having a Pina Colada at a tiki bar where you just cruised on in from a
long day of hanging on the hook working on your tan.

Subject: GL: What a year...

Long story short, March '08
Went to buy a boat, could not get financing until house sold (was on
the market).
House sold in May (we thought) 6 days before signing the buyers
walked!!!
House has not sold yet.... not even lookers...
Thinking of renting...
So now, Jan 2, I had emergency double bypass surgery!!...

Now the question...

Any one out there cruising with bypass surgery?
How is it going?
Any problems?

Also, I'm pushing 70, should have started sooner!
Who is/was the oldest person/s to complete the Loop?
Any one still cruising in their 80's?

Any thoughts on elder cruising would be appreciated. <smile>

Thanks
