GL: Update on Great Kills, Staten Island

Larry,

I agree with the Haverstraw Bay / Croton Point anchorage, it's my standard 
stop on the way up or down the Hudson.

When the wind is from the north, I go for the south side of the point, in 
about 4 feet of water.  Gives you a nice view of Sing Sing Prison.

When there's a wind from the west, or a storm, both these anchorages might 
be bumpy, so then I go for Haverstraw Marina, directly across the river.
