GL: CanPass

I can't speak with direct experience with dogs, but I have been a member of 
CanPass since near it's inception and have taken two (now one, sadly) cats 
across with me, declaring them each time, and, of course, each having a 
current rabies certificates, with no problem.

I don't know the duty on wine, however, the different varieties available in 
Canada are fun to try, especially in Quebec, and the prices near comparable 
(somewhat higher, but that would likely be easily be offset by the duty).

As always, YMMV.

It's a great trip, but, like the Great Loop, it is often done too quickly. 
Take the time to learn some French, at least the greetings and polite 
niceties... the people are generally warm and friendly and will appreciate 
it.
