I do the same with my Sprint card, which also serves as a GPS receiver on my
laptop.  Very useful with the Nobeltec chartplotter (on water) or MS Streets
(on land).  Cradlepoint allows both of us to use our laptops simultaneously.
No more "are you done looks."

  As per the comments of Jeffrey Siegel, I can second the motion.  I have
  the cradlepoint router with the AT&T Mercury aircard, and it works as
  slick as can be in creating a private, WAP protected hotspot in our
  boat.  Sit anywhere you like, with laptops and as long as you have our
  security code for the WAP, you are good to go.  It works with most USB
  aircards from most carriers.
