GL: cummins B & C diamond engine rew water pumps.

On Valentine our Nordic Tug 37 we have just  replaced the raw water pump on
our Cummins 5.9B engine. This consisted of having to remove one of the motor
mounts to be able to remove  the pump. Also the old pump has a key holding the
impeller which is  very hard to allign and scores the faceplate. I have
ordered a back up pump from Sbmar.com/Products/SM-Pump e-mail
tony at sbmar.com which does not require removal of the motor mount for R&R and
uses a splined shaft. Cost roughly the same as the Sherwood P1730A that it
replaces. The 4 engines that I know of with the replacement pump are very
happy, and my 5th engine hopefully will be also. Jon.
