GL: fuel tank problems

hello everyone, our trip has come to a complete stop due to the need for  new
fuel tanks.We are a single engine 40' sedan trawler. with so many  options
out there we need some input as to material, methods,
time frame, etc. we will winter in Baltimore to accomplish this job,  then
move on in the spring.
any and all feedback will be well received.
