GL: after Rendezvous

After several attempts, Ted Stehle (Waterways Guide) and I FINALLY  got to
meet here in Cincinnati this morning. Always had conflicts before and it was
FUN to finally get together! He gave a glowing resume of the Rendezvous! I am
so happy to hear how many of you were there. I also heard about the great
presentation that Ed did to promote his marina, Easternshore Marine and
FAIRHOPE...on Mobile Bay...I've been trying to TELL you all you've got to stop
there when you reach Mobile Bay!   Though I am now in Cincinnati, I leave
Thursday to head back to Alabama...FAIRHOPE/MONTROSE and hope to see many of
you at Easternshore! I know the folks at Dog River are really nice
people...but I never could understand why so many stop there where there is
NOTHING for miles around...when FAIRHOPE is a real 'destination'?

forward to seeing many of you this fall! I'm also in the phone book...
