GL: Do you relly use your dinghy?

Larry,

On the loop trip in 2005 spend 205 days, 50% of the time we anchored and
used the dinghy.  We also had a kayak but weather would have precluded using
on many days.   We had a dog that we took ashore when anchored.

Please comment on the real need for hauling a dinghy around.  I have one but
wonder how many loopers really use the dinghy.
