Ken,
For anyone to be able to give you good advise, they will need to know
what make, model, weight and type of boat you have and what size
props you have - diameter and pitch, and why you want to replace them
versus simply having a spare set on board. The horsepower and torque
of your engine(s) is also important.
What is your top RPM and what is your fuel efficient Cruising RPM?
Do you have digital fuel flow meters to actually know what RPM's are
most efficient?
We repowered our 36 ft Carver mariner this year and previously had 22
by 22 props. With the added horsepower and torque we had to have
them redone to 22 dia. by 23-1/2 pitch. What a difference in
performance.
