We are thinking about a trailerable trawler. There were a few places on the
loop we missed or want to return to.

Has anyone had any experience with an Albin Family Cruiser 27 ft? It has a
9'8" beam and about 6000 lbs. I know it is too wide by most State Standards
but I understand there are permits one can get.

We've put over 8,000 hours on Sadie B, our 1984 Albin Family Cruiser. Our
model has a Peugeot based, Lehman marinzed 4 cylinder engine burning
somewhere between 0.6 and 0.75 gallons per hour, depending on engine speed.
Later models sported somewhat larger engines, up to as much as 150
horsepower.

I suspect you would have a hard time finding a better combination of low
expense and reasonable accommodations.

Feel free to call me if you have any other questions.

Dennis
