GL: Avoiding state income tax

How do the loopers avoid state income tax?  I am from a hungry state,  and I 
would like to avoid the bite.  I currently plan to register the boat  in 
Delaware to avoid sales tax, now the next step is to avoid the income tax  also.
 
What do folks do?
