We did it with 5' in 2007
We hit one ledge that was poorly marked and is well know by the locals
It is just before the route 30 bridge over Rice Lake on the Trent Severn
I think the other place we touched was also on the TS
Be sure to dinghy up to Perth on the Rideau
The best town on the canals
There are lots of weedy places that look shallower but 5' was fine\
