When you are that close to the limits, consider fuel and water management
that will give you some reserve, but may raise you an inch or two in the
water compared to full tanks.
The Rideau is an AWESOME trip, take your time and enjoy it. We only draw 4
feet, so cannot answer about depth experiences.

In preparation for the trip we've discovered that the minimum depth for the
Rideau can be
as little as 5'. We draw 4'10". B We're a DeFever 44.
We'd like to draw upon the experience of others and we're wondering how many

you draw close to 5' and what your experience on the Rideau may have been.
