There was a discussion of fuel prices in Brewerton, N.Y, we recently left
there to head back to Albany and before leaving we brought on 111 gallons of
diesel fuel and the bill was $500.00 or approximately $4.50 per gallon.
Understand that if you are going up Lake Champlain into Canada, the fuel
cost is less in Vermont due to the tax situation.
According to news broadcast while in N.Y, the state of New York, is one of
four states with the highest fuel tax in the United States. Therefore my
suggestion is to bring on fuel in New Jersey, ride the incoming tide if you
are going upstate and then fill up in Vermont.
