GL: Loop completion

On April 29th at 7:30 am the B & B completed the Great Loop, exactly 4 years
to the day from when we first left St. Simon's island in our "new" used
Endeavour 36 Trawlercat. We obviously took our time. We still think the
North Channel of Lake Huron is the best cruising ground for us, but the
Tennessee River system isn't all bad either. We look forward to doing the
Hudson again in late June, if our boat doesn't sell. The best part of the
loop, as most folks will tell you, is the other boaters you meet along the
way. The scenery is great, the weather always "interesting," but the people
are the enduring memories that we will cherish.

We are in Charleston, SC and headed north into the Chesapeake, another of
our favorite places to cruise.

For all those that helped us out, offered good advice and cruising
information, thank you.
