GL: AIR CARDS

Charlie,
We use the at&t Sierra wireless card (http://www.sierrawireless.com/). Look
at the speed of the card (1/2 meg versus 3 meg or 8 meg). We also have a
digital antenna "Powermax" booster amp (http://www.digitalantenna.com/) to
give us greater range.

Look at the coverage areas for the carrier you plan to use and the band
width of the card and that pretty much tells the story.

Subject: GL: AIR CARDS

Is there a consensus on the best air card service/cost. ATT vs Verizon?
I'm heading north from the Keys to Green Bay, WI via the Erie Canal. Last
fall, on the trip down, local wireless was hit or miss.
Excuse me if this subject has been worked over for months but I have not
Great Loop site for months and I couldn't find it in the archives.
