I can only speak for my Verizon card which works everywhere I have been  
except Canada because I did not turn it due to $$, a remote spot on the st.  johns 
river, and of course Shark River. 
 
On the bad side, $60 a month, but I put a slot on my home pc also and  
eliminated my home phone, and service is better than dial up, but slower than  dsl.
