The key to all of this is for the men to pick their days of travel wisely
when their wives are with them.
Dont go outside if the waves and chop are enough to move the boat
uncomfortably. Instead pick a nice NW wind and hug the beach. She will love
that ride.If not, then suck it in and be willing to add time to the trip and
go inside. Takes longer but is always smooth and plenty of nice sites to
see.
After a few big green heads get her, SHE may suggest to go outside next time
!
Otherwise, sit in port and wait for the right weather that is suitable for
her. What's the rush?
Hey, I learned the hard way with our old sailboat. I took my wife in stuff
that I knew the boat could very easily handle safely but was sloppy. And, we
were ON A SCHEDULE. She barfed the whole way.
Now that we are trawler people and will be cruising in retirement days, we
can throw away the SCHEDULE.
