GL: electronic charts

Spend $49 with Maptech and buy the DVD, which has all of the ENC of the US,
including the rivers and coastal areas.  This includes a chart reader and
positioning program.  Mine came with "offshore Navigator lite"--I also  have
Offshore Navigator.   I just load the entire DVD on the hard drive--great for
planning and navigation.

There are a lot fancier programs, but this does basic navigation and will work
with most other ENC.
