GL: Sngle handling locks on the loop

I have been living aboard since 1982, cruising since 1990, and I know  no 
companion as companionable as solitude!   My 5 P's of cruising is  Proper Planing 
Prevents Poor Performance.   On the one occasion that I  had yielded to 
temptation, inviting a companion aboard was a disaster, 27  days from Chicago to 
Paducah, never again.  The problem was that she  thought she was on a cruise 
SHIP, all she did was ask for this and that,  sunbathe on deck, get me a drink, I 
am hungry, she complained about  everything.  Oh well, I guess that's why 
they put pencils  on erasers.
 
BTW, How can 3 females & 5 males on a boat be classified as single  handlers, 
wouldn't they be a crowd? (Smile)
