Daniel,

I agree with Ralph and John abt showing your wife trawlers. LOTS of them so
that SHE can see what is available and what SHE would like in one to be
comfortable.

Comfort is the operative word-- we are not talking camping here but comfort.
My wife was not a boater but she enjoys it and the people that we meet.

I posted an article on another list abt not having a schedule as having one
will get you in trouble----bad weather and the like. DON'T SCARE HER ,
PERIOD.

I have seen way too many men do that!!!!!

By the way, see our web site and a no of posts by my wife about our boating
experiences----recalling that she is there for me!!!!!

Also we agreed on an eventual cut off date for the big boat that is
suitable for both of us!!!!! It's still a few years off.

We have done most all of the West side of the Great Circle Cruise ( and a
lot more ) and a houseboat will do it just fine. Recall that most are gas
and should be run slow as in 7-8 mph and not the 15 mph as
advertised -------and which you will have fun buying gas for!!!!!!!!!

Same with trawlers.

We have done the Mississippi fr. Cairo ,Ill dwn . see our web site and the
Arkansas, and Alabama, and more. They are all great.
