GL: Houseboats

There ARE some "houseboats" that are reputed to be
quite seaworthy.  I remember a test a few years back
by "BOATING" magazine that put a new 50 foot (or so)
Bluewater to a full test and found it quite suitable.

Shallow draft, prop pockets, etc. would make it quite
suitable for gunkholing and other river travels.  I would
imagine that you would need to carefully judge forecast
weather prior to venturing out on the water, but that is
a mandatory thing no matter what boat you have.
