GL: Legrace arrives in Demopolis

Morning Bob & Lynn,
 
That's odd that you couldn't get into Sumter Landing, one of our favorite  
anchorages.  I know the deepest water is right-of-center as you go  in.  We were 
in there both June & October of this past year in normal  water and we found 
5' at the mouth before dropping to the 8 to 10 foot  level.  My guess is that 
your depth finder was reading all the  tall grass that grows in the mouth of 
the anchorage, I know it's there  because I fish in and around it.  If you 
decided to stay in Demopolis tell  Tranilla (sp?) & Keith hello on the fuel dock 
and Fred and the boys  hello up in the shop.
 
On another note.....We arrived in Ft Myers Beach yesterday, we paid 3.70  
including tax for diesel at Ballard Oil.  The diesel price at the  other 2 places 
here in F.M.B. was $4.05 NOT including tax!  I guess with  crude oil reaching 
a new high yesterday it will only get worse.
